 talk about a film that got the raw end of a deal, i knew this film was gonna bomb hard depsite that Blue Beetle will be the first true DCU character and this was my second time rewatching it and i liked it a bit more on this rewatch, depsite it being kinda generic, it's still able to stand out thanks to the characters, family aspects and interesting setups SPECIALS (POSITIVES) +great acting across the board especially from Xolo Mariduena  +another film that'll make you love and appreciate your family more than ever before +actual good visuals +simple but effective story and emotions +good use and portayal of Blue Beetle and his powers +great fun action variety scenes +great score +great humor FAULTS (POSITIVES) -another HIGHLY FORGETTABLE VILLAIN -maybe the pacing can drag a few times Rating/Grade: 95 (A)

 man so much complicated feelings about this film, one where it was so back and forth in development hell, swaping so many directors, not sure what to do with the story, all that along with the whole Gunn reboot/reset made this film not surprisingly to be the biggest box office bomb of the year in a year where many movies bomb so hard and yet this was the worst one, finally we gotten an Flash solo movie and the poor marketing and poor timing set it up to fail, depsite that i surprisingly enjoyed it SPECIALS (POSITIVES) +Ezra Miller gives an emotional and awesome performance +Michael Keaton is fantastic +Supergirl is amazing and her storyline is incredible +solid direction +solid action setpieces +emotional story +more fun and invested than i expected +nice surprises along the way +solid ending FAULTS (NEGATIVES) -WORST CGI EVERRRRRRR!!!!!!!!! -General Zod still is bland depsite Michael Shannon's best efforts -questionable third act Rating/Grade: 92 (A-)

 the first huge gigantic box office bomb of the DCEU, a film that was in development hell since 2007 finally got released and i always described it is that it's an fun 2007 superhero movie that happened to get released in 2022, mostly cause it feels like an 2000s superhero movie, with the tone, characters, action, story, etc and i've always enjoyed this film depsite its obvious faults and the fact its likely we won't see these characters again  SPECIALS (POSITIVES) +The Rock being the Rock as he always is, one of his best performances +loved the justice society with Pierce Bronsan being the standout as Doctor Fate +their back and forth throughout +amazing action setpieces +great score +great final battle FAULTS (NEGATIVES) -most FORGETTABLE VILLAIN EVER -the mom and kid were also forgettable -painfully generic at times -terrible CGI and visuals at points -waste of an post credits scene knowing it won't ever go anywhere Rating/Grade: 78 (B)

 another genuine surprise, i was one of those people that was never truly hyped for finally getting the Snyder version of Justice League, not that i think he didn't deserve it or anything, just that idk if it was even gonna fix a lot of the big issues with the original cut (long before we gotten known of the behind the scenes issues) but color me shocked, while the 4 hour runtime can be a bit much, this is basically like watching an Justice League/Unlimited Animated Episode on the big screen in live-action in the best ways and is the live action justice league epic we all have wanted SPECIALS (POSITIVES) +Zack Snyder's usual visual flair being the best its ever been +Steppenwolf once being an joke in the 2017 is now the best DCEU villain +proof that Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck were done very dirty and could have been the best portayals of these characters  +Wonder Woman still amazing, same with Aquaman +Flash humor tone way down, amazing sequences with him +Cyborg being the m...

we are getting the sequel to this movie in a few weeks which will be the last movie set in this universe and this starts an streak of DC movies that i had an hard time getting excited about cause of the state of DC at this time but wound up being surprised by how much i enjoyed them and on many rewatches Aquaman is still a blast SPECIALS (POSITIVES) +Jason Moana bringing the charm and charisma as the titular character +Patrick Wilson being the first true great DCEU villain +excellent acting all around +amazing visuals +excellent world-building +thrilling action scenes +amazing cinematography +great James Wan directing +excellent final battle +mostly great campy humor FAULTS (NEGATIVES) -campiness can be a bit much at times -AMBER HEARD being in the movie -weird song choices at times -everything involving Black Manta Rating/Grade: 95 (A)

 the pure definition of a film that just gotten mixed reviews and reception when it came out but after hearing more in depth on how the studio used Snyder's personal dilemma of losing his daughter to recreate/restructure the film in their own pathetic way, put in Joss Whedon whose humor did not mesh well with the tone they were going for, the behind the scenes drama and poor treatment of these actors especially Gal Gadot and Ray Fisher and knowing now with the Snyder version, it makes the theatrical cut now more obselete and boring and bad and i have gone downhill a lot on this movie when it came out as i was high on it but upon all the news and rewatches, this is now the worst DCEU movie and one i might consider to be one of the worst superhero movies ever made and considering this is the first time we were seeing the actual Justice League on the big screen for the first time, it makes this even more of an letdown, man DC producing three of the biggest disappointments ever SPECIAL...

dang it Survivor 45, you were actually becoming an great season, aside from the quits in the pre-merge, the dynamics were amazing, they were truly taking advantage of the 90 min runtime, finally seeing more camp life and character moments and conflicts and fixing a lot of the new era issues that have plauged the previous seasons and having some blindsides like the Sabiyah, J.  for the longest time i always say that Batman v.
